Upcoming Events

The state of Alabama has now adopted the National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®). The NCRC® is an assessment-based credential that utilizes ACT’s WorkKeys®; this credentialing gives employers and career seekers a uniform measure of key workplace skills.

ACT WorkKeys is a job skills assessment system measuring “real world” skills that employers believe are critical to job success. Assessments are available in the following areas:

Applied Technology

Applied Math

Graphic Literacy

Workplace Observation

Workplace Documents

Business Writing

The WorkKeys NCRC (National Career Readiness Certificate) is issued at four levels; Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

This site is powered by LibCal - an online application used to reserve rooms and/or facilities to be used for campus events. While our campus facilities are primarily used by Gadsden State personnel for campus events, the College will make facilities available to community groups and organizations whenever possible according to the applicable policies and procedures as long as there is no conflict with GSCC functions that have already been scheduled.
